The UFC returns to London England on March the 18th. Britains own Jimi Manuwa will battle Corey Anderson in a competitive light heavyweight clash. Manuwa & Anderson are both currently ranked inside the top 10, slightly behind the championship contender positions. A win for either will edge them ever closer to the higher ranked fighters in the weight division, leaving the winner one or two fights away from a possible title shot.
Potential fight of the night
Gunnar Nelson vs Alan Jouban
Every now and then a fight gets announced that looks on paper to be guaranteed entertainment, this is one of them. Conor McGregor’s stablemate Gunnar Nelson has been subtly improving during his UFC journey, only dropping decision losses to experienced fighters Rick Story and Demian Maia. Jouban will be aiming to extend his three-fight win streak by defeating his toughest opponent to date.
Fighter to watch
Brad Pickett
Fighting in front of his hometown this will be Pickett’s last MMA contest. Having competed 13 times in his six years on the UFC roster, Brad “one punch” Pickett looks to end his career in front of his own fans with a win. This could well be the story of the night should Pickett get his hand raised on Saturday night.
