If you, or someone you know, has been emasculated in a relationship; Read on.  This article is for you.

When sparks fly between a man and woman, it can lead to some truly hot, romantic, and fulfilling moments.  The beginning of a new relationship is an exciting time.  However, once carnal lust begins to wane, we are able to see our partners more clearly.  We noticed small imperfections that perhaps we overlooked intentionally at the dawn of the courtship.

“Whipped” is abbreviated slang of the word, “Pussy whipped”.  This is when the woman becomes so dominant over the man, that he loses his voice in any and all decision making. Attracted by the desire for sex, the man gives up his freedom of choice in order to get laid. Hence, the title “Pussy whipped” or simply “whipped.”

We’ve all seen guys who get whipped in a relationship. It’s horrifying. The resulting depression and/or denial experienced only makes the situation worse.  Have you ever seen a guy sitting on an uncomfortable bench alone in a shopping mall with his wife’s purse?  She’s inside the store, spending money that he worked hard to earn, and doesn’t even consider his feelings on the issue.  Never mind, that it is day off and he didn’t want to go to the mall in the first place.

If this describes you or someone you know, then you you are probably whipped.  If you’re not sure if you are whipped or not, here are three surefire signs that you’ve got a major relationship problem on your hands.  This isn’t a fix-all, but hopefully once you realize the situation you’re in, you can take the steps to correct the issue.

She withholds affection and/or sex

This classic case is all to common in dysfunctional relationships.  A man is defiantly whipped when sex or affection becomes a reward or punishment.   No-nookie in the bedroom, or making a man unjustly compromise his beliefs to satisfy a basic human need is surefire sign of being whipped.

Wielding love as a weapon is tremendously damaging and manipulative.  She may do this to try and take control of the relationship, or for other reasons.  It causes resentment and if it goes on too long, eventually a whipped man will likely… ahem, take matters into his own hands.

You’re not allowed contact with friends or family

In the beginning she seemed like the perfect girl.  You each had you own lives independent of each other, and shared moments that made you co-dependent.  But, slowly that began to change.  She started to whine anytime you wanted to go out with your buddies.  Phone calls to your brother, sister, Mom or Dad got interrupted so she have your full attention.  This was just the tip of the iceberg.  At first she ridicules your judgement with statements like, “I don’t know you hang with that guy.”  Then it morphs into, “We’re going to visit your parents.”

If any of this sounds familiar, congratulations… YOU’RE Whipped.

Wether it is from unfounded jealously or a severe inferiority complex, some women will actively seek to isolate their mate from his best friends and/or family members.  Surely, there are times when this may be warranted – like your cousin who deals meth – but if it is only dominate and control your life, then it’s time to hit the road jack.

She gets her way. Every. Single. Time.

If you have ever come home to find your entire collection of music, books, etc… tossed in the garbage by your girlfriend or spouse, then you absolutely whipped.  Not only does the woman in your life keep your balls in the palm of her hand (not in the good way), she doesn’t give a damn about what you think, like, or enjoy.

You want to listen to rock n’ roll in the car, but she’s got to have her bubble gum pop radio.  The same damn song has been playing for months now.  It’s her restaurant, or you don’t go out. Anything and everything becomes a battle ground, or contest.
