In the co-main event, Waterford’s Peter “The Showstopper” Queally (13-5-1) will look to bring the house down as the No. 4 ranked lightweight goes head-to-head against 23-time BELLATOR veteran and No. 1 ranked Patricky “Pitbull” Freire (23-10) in a hotly anticipated immediate rematch.

“Relentless” Charlie Ward, who trains out of SBG, is unbeaten in his last two fights with six of his nine professional victories coming by the way of knockout. The number six ranked middleweight fighter will be looking to build on his impressive decision victory over Andy Manzolo in Milan at BELLATOR 247 last October. Ward will want to put on a show for his home fans and with fireworks guaranteed inside the 3Arena, this fight is certainly one not to be missed.
Standing in his way will be Hungarian Norbert Novenyi Jr., who trains out of London Shootfighters alongside Michael “Venom” Page. Novenyi who is yet to taste defeat as a professional, is one of the most explosive fighters in the middleweight division. He will want to prove his class once again after his first-round submission victory in his last fight against Laïd Zerhouni, which also took place at BELLATOR 247. Novenyi will be hoping to silence the home crowd and continue his rise through the middleweight rankings as he looks to build on his impressive start to his MMA career.
Meanwhile, the highly experienced No. 6 ranked German, Daniel Weichel heads to Dublin after claiming victory over Keoni Diggs at BELLATOR 261 this past June. Weichel will be hoping to add to his impressive 41 professional victories in what is set be a thrilling encounter between two featherweights’ neck and neck in the BELLATOR rankings.
Opposing Weichel will be Portugal’s 26-year-old Pedro Carvalho, who also trains out of SBG in Ireland. “The Game” will be hoping to return to his winning ways and climb back up the featherweight rankings. A talented submission specialist, Carvalho has scored six of his 11 career victories in that fashion, proving to always be a tough out. On Nov. 5, the former featherweight world title challenger will be looking to secure the victory in his adopted hometown.

Bellator 270
DUBLIN – After more than 18 months away from the 3Arena, BELLATOR’s return to the iconic Dublin venue is set for Friday, Nov. 5, when Ireland’s own No. 6 ranked James “The Strabanimal” Gallagher (11-1) faces the No. 2 ranked Patchy Mix (14-1) in a huge bantamweight main event to headline BELLATOR 270.
In the co-headliner, No. 4 ranked lightweight and Dublin’s very own Peter “The Showstopper” Queally (13-5-1), will be looking to bring the house down again when he faces 23-time BELLATOR veteran and No. 1 ranked Patricky “Pitbull” Freire (23-10) in a highly anticipated rematch. An additional five preliminary matchups for BELLATOR 270: Gallagher vs. Mix are also confirmed below.
Tickets to BELLATOR 270: Gallagher vs. Mix go on general sale on this Friday, Aug. 27, with an exclusive presale on Thursday, Aug. 26, and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.ie and Bellator.com.
Fans in Ireland will be able to watch the event on both Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Sport, while those in the UK can watch the event live on BBC iPlayer. Meanwhile U.S. fans will be able to enjoy the main card action live on SHOWTIME at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT, with a replay at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
The eagerly awaited bantamweight matchup between Gallagher and Mix has the potential to go down as one of the all-time great fights in BELLATOR history. It was originally due to take place in May at BELLATOR 258, but injury forced Gallagher out of the encounter. Now, in front of what is guaranteed to be an electric Irish crowd, the “Strabanimal” will finally get his chance to silence Mix as he looks to earn the biggest win of his career to date.
“I’m so grateful to be back as the headline in Dublin,” said Gallagher, “I’ve moved to America to take my mindset and skill set to another level and I’m happy I can show my work to my home fans! Welcome to the Jimmy Show! ”
Patchy Mix is currently the #2 ranked bantamweight and fights out of Extreme Couture in Las Vegas. Like Gallagher, Mix has made a name for himself in the BELLATOR cage by displaying impressive submissions, including the rare Suloev Stretch.
Mix said of his long-awaited matchup: “I’m going to walk into James’ home country and put him away in the first round.”
After a series of lively back-and-forth trash talk encounters and cancelled bouts due to injury, Queally and Pitbull finally met in the BELLATOR cage in May earlier this year, with the Irishman causing a huge upset, securing a hard-fought TKO victory due to a doctor’s stoppage following a cut Patricky sustained in the second round.
Queally, meanwhile, who trains alongside Gallagher out of Ireland’s famous Straight Blast Gym, will be looking to once again use the might of the home-crowd to help him secure a decisive win over his bitter rival, Pitbull.
“I can’t wait to get back out there again to settle this once and for all with Pitbull and really give the 3Arena crowd something special,” Queally said. “Patricky is such a perfect opponent, there has been so much that has gone on with me and him that I think the crowd will be even more invested than normal this time. Expect an all-out war – I’m going to beat him, and the lightweight belt is next.”
Freire – the older brother of BELLATOR lightweight champion Patrício – has competed professionally since 2005, earning a fearsome reputation as a knockout artist. Living up to the moniker “Pitbull,” Freire will be looking to even the score with Queally, silence the home crowd and get back to his winning ways.
“He knows he was getting beat up in the first fight,” said Pitbull. “He felt pain in his legs and body, I’m gonna make him feel even more pain now. The Irish fans are very loud and passionate, but when I knock him out, you will be able to hear a pin drop in that arena.”
The news of a return to Dublin rounds off a trio of BELLATOR MMA events confirmed on European soil in 2021, with the cage setting down in London on October 1 and Moscow on October 23 before heading to the Irish capital on November 5.

How to Decide the Right Music Acts to Hire for Your Venue
How to Decide the Right Music Acts to Hire for Your Venue
Not everyone that has a passion for music has the ability to do it for a living. Some of us can’t even carry a tune. That doesn’t mean you can’t make music a major part of your life. One of the coolest, and most potentially profitable, ways of getting involved in the music business is to own and operate your own venue. But finding a location to call your own is just the beginning. How do you know what kind of music to start booking in the first place?
Look into What Kinds of Acts are Available
The first step in determining what kind of music acts are right for you is researching what kind of bands for hire are available. What is the local music scene like? How many bands are there? What genres of music do they play? A big part of starting a music venue depends on what acts you have access to, especially early on when you’re looking to establish your venue’s identity.
Consider the Audience You Want to Attract
Speaking of establishing your venue’s identity, it’s worth taking the time to really think about the kind of audience you’re hoping to attract. Are you looking to attract the local teenage audience so they have someplace to go for a good time on weekends? Or are you looking for an older adult crowd that you can serve alcohol to? Do you want the atmosphere to be relaxed or energetic? Affordable or expensive? Once you know your audience, it’s a lot easier to cater to them.
Figure Out How Much You’re Able to Spend
Running a music venue isn’t easy. Nor is it cheap. After the cost of rent, taxes, utilities, and insurance, you might not have much left over for talent booking. How much you can spare determines what acts you’ll be able to bring in, as well as how often. Again, there’s a lot of questions to ask yourself. How many days of the week do you want to host live music? Do you want to focus just on local performers and or do you want nationally touring headliners? Knowing your limitations is important.
Ask Your Customers for Helpful Suggestions
As your venue becomes more and more established, you might find the same old acts don’t quite bring in the crowds the way they used to. Or you might find that your audience is diversifying in new and interesting ways. If you want to keep things fresh, don’t be afraid to ask your customers directly. Who do they want to see? What kinds of acts are they excited about? What can you do to keep them happy? That’s what it’s all about, keeping your audience happy. Without them, you’re toast.
The ‘Why’ and ‘How’ of Good Oral Hygiene
The ‘Why’ and ‘How’ of Good Oral Hygiene
Your oral health is incredibly important. Modern diets often consist of sugar-laden convenience food that might taste great but can have an incredibly detrimental impact on your teeth and gums. Teeth are one of the most valuable aspects of our bodies that we take for granted considering once they become damaged or fall out, no more adult sets appear in their place. Dental costs are expensive, and the cheapest and healthiest way to have a healthy mouth is to take good care of what you already have. The following is a list of ideas to help maintain good oral hygiene to protect your mouth and boost your confidence.
How Oral Hygiene Affects Your Confidence
You might think keeping your teeth and gums healthy only serves physical benefits, but these can translate mentally too. Whether aiding romantic or professional relationships or simply boosting your own self-esteem, having a clean and healthy-looking mouth will provide a fantastic source of self-assurance. In fact, poor oral hygiene has been linked as a symptom of poor mental health, which demonstrates the link between self-care and wellbeing. This is done in several ways: fresh breath, aligned teeth, healthy coloring, and healthy gums.
Regular Brushing
We’ve all heard the age-old lesson: brush your teeth twice a day. In fact, you should be brushing your teeth after sugary snacks or drinks as well, to minimize their effect on your enamel. Fizzy drinks have a shocking amount of sugar in them, which doesn’t necessarily mean you have to give them up (although you should certainly attempt to moderate your consumption of them!) but educating yourself on their contents will inform you on how often you should actually brush your teeth. It is always handy to keep a travel-sized toothbrush and paste in your handbag or rucksack for this reason, and also keeps you prepared if you have to stay overnight without luggage.
Mouthwash
This is often overlooked, but is in fact the easiest extra step to take care of your teeth, gums, and breath in one fell swoop! The extra minute you spend gargling mouthwash in the morning and evening can effectively double the protection and hygienic care your mouth receives daily and can yield benefits that last for years to come if the habit is maintained.
Floss
It is surprising to imagine that a lot of adults today don’t know how to effectively floss, and this is why dentists are stereotyped into reminding us to do so. When flossing, rather than moving the material between your teeth, the true cleaning power of flossing is utilized when moving the material between the tooth and the gum itself. Doing this can rapidly remove plaque and debris you previously would not have even registered and can really elevate your oral hygiene.
Braces
Though many people associate braces with awkward teenage years and a mouth full of metal, this is no longer the case, especially within the adult demographic. Usually, you cannot even tell when a grown man or woman has braces, as there are fantastic practices such as ALIGNERCO who offer invisible braces that can work to realign your smile without compromising months and potentially years of wearing visible braces. Braces from ALIGNERCO are just as affordable as regular teeth straightening, added with their bonus of anonymity. You’ll receive a kit in the post for taking a mold of your teeth, so it’s really easy.
Whitening Products
These should be thoroughly researched before purchasing, and if you want to preserve the strength and integrity of your existing teeth, we recommend not buying any products with harsh bleaching chemicals. Although these may yield the most visibly effective results, they can often harm your existing teeth and make them appear much worse in the long term. Gentler products with more natural ingredients are a route that requires more patience but are also much safer and kinder to your teeth
Gum
A good rule of thumb is to keep a small pack of gum on your person or in your bag at all times. This goes especially for those in a professional environment and is absolutely essential on a date. Nobody wants someone with bad breath in their personal space, and it is a common courtesy that should be upheld. In recent times, mask-wearing has made many people much more aware of keeping their breath fresh, and thus gum (sugar-free is preferred!) is a brilliant way to prevent bad breath and dry mouth. If you don’t like gum, sprays or hard mints are also handy alternatives.
Implement these ideas and practices into your daily living and you will be sure to notice a real difference to your confidence, and long term they’ll have a huge sense of gratitude that you looked after your body. Teeth are something to be treasured. They have an effect on your day-to-day life and your overarching health, as poor oral hygiene can breed problems both mental and physical.
What are the Ingredients of a CBD Vape Pen
The booming CBD market has introduced CBD enthusiasts with lots of options to consume CBD orally or topically. If you are also a CBD enthusiast looking for a comfortable way to absorb it, we recommend CBD vape pens. You might wonder why.
Vaping is a fast-acting, convenient, and smokeless way to intake CBD. But most people are confused before consuming CBD through vape pens. Some of them are What are the ingredients in a CBD vape pen? What are its various uses? And Is smoking and vaping the same? This article will solve most of your confusion.
Ingredients of a CBD vape pen
Regardless of what you call vape oil, CBD vape juice, or CBD e-liquid, all these represent the same meaning. A liquid infused with CBD that you can vape using a vape pen. It is one of the oldest yet effective methods to intake CBD.
CBD vaping oil typically contains four key ingredients. They are:
- Cannabidiol or CBD
- Propylene Glycol or PG
- Vegetable Glycerin
- Flavoring
A detailed description of each product is given below. After reading this, you might also understand why we recommend CBD vape pens.
- Cannabidiol ( CBD )
The first and most vital component of vaping oil is CBD. It is one of the most popular and used cannabinoids of the cannabis Sativa plant, used for treating various health conditions like epilepsy, chronic and acute pain, stress, anxiety, and sleeping disorders.
You should not confuse CBD with tetrahydrocannabinol ( THC). Although THC and CBD are both derived from the same species of plant, they hold substantial differences. On the one hand, CBD works as a pain reliever; THC gets you high. After the Farm Bill 2018, the US states legalized CBD products with a THC content less than or equal to 0.3%.
- Propylene Glycol or PG
Here are few points that you need to know about Propylene Glycol:
- PG is a slightly sweet flavored liquid derived from petroleum. It is odorless and colorless. Its texture is like honey; that is the syrup texture. Most people confuse propylene glycol with Ethylene Glycol, a compound used in antifreeze and is toxic.
- Ethylene Glycol is a highly lethal compound. Thus, in recent times manufacturers shifted to a safer alternative, that is, PG. While handling ethylene glycol requires efficient measures, PG is safe for use in products for pets and humans.
- The Food and Drugs Association also considers PG safe for human ingestion and a non-cancerous compound. However, the long-term effects of inhaling PG are still unknown.
- PG makes the ingredient of a product thicker by retaining the moisture. It also works as an adhesive, keeping all the ingredients together. Thus, it is mainly used as a food additive.
- Some foods in which PG is used as an additive are soft drinks, ice cream, salad dressing, baked cake mix, packaged frosting, and commercial food coloring.
- Not only food items, some cosmetics products like deodorant, ointment, shampoo, toothpaste, mouthwash, and lotion also use PG as an ingredient.
- PG affects your vaping experience to a great extent. An e-liquid with a high PG ratio will give you a better flavoring than a low PG ratio.
- The thin consistency and syrup texture of PG allows you to clean your vape easily. It might also create leaking issues if your vape pen is not of good quality.
Before using a vape pen with a high PG ratio, make sure that you are not allergic to it. Many people are sensitive to PG and face skin irritation or sore throat. If you face similar conditions, we recommend CBD vape pens with a high VG ratio.
- Vegetable Glycerol or VG
Various facts about VG are:
- VG is extracted from palm trees or soybeans. It is a thick and transparent liquid. It is also derived from animal fat ( not that common). Its texture is similar to PG. However, VG is relatively thicker.
- Most people confuse it with vegetable oil because of its thick consistency and syrup texture. But they both are different. Vegetable oil is not soluble in water, while glycerol easily dissolves in water.
- The FDA also approves it as a generally safe chemical compound for human ingestion. Similar to PG, the health effects of inhaling VG are also in the research phase.
- It leaves a sweet aftertaste. Thus, it is used by different food industries as a sweetener. Like PG, it also retains moisture, making ingredients thick. You can also use it as a food additive because of its property to homogenize ingredients or make them uniform.
- VG is also a prominent compound in the pharmaceutical industry used in skincare products for various reasons. Some of them are:
- It increases the solubility of multiple ingredients, making it readily absorbable by the skin.
- It preserves moisture for a long time.
- You might not notice but, your household is full of products that contain VG. Some of them are toothpaste, skin and hand cream, deodorant, make-up, eye drops, and soap.
- Some food products like cheese, baked goods, gel capsule pills, and yogurt also contain VG.
- If you are a cloud chaser while vaping, then you should select a liquid with a high VG ratio. More the VG in your e-liquid, the thicker, immense, and plummy cloud it will create.
- If you don’t want a sharp hit on your throat, go for a high VG e-liquid.
- A vape liquid with a high VG ratio can bring dry hits. It is because of its thickness. It also prevents the cotton in your vape coil from getting saturated quickly.
- The high VG ratio also makes it difficult to clean the vape.
- Flavoring
- Flavouring gives the taste of a particular food or drinks to the vaping oil. It does not affect your vaping experience much. It is because of its low content, which is 10% only.
- These flavoring compounds are present in most candies, baked goods, soda, and other processed food items.
- When a particular essence, say orange, is mixed with vape liquid, it gives you the feeling of eating a strawberry. Thus, making your vaping experience tastier.
- These are the ingredients used in the e-liquid of your vape pen. Some manufacturers may add some more components to attract consumers.
Conclusion
Among various methods to consume CBD, 16% of the consumers use vaping, and the percentage is continuously growing. The difference between smoking and vaping is always a controversial topic. However, most people consider vaping as a safe alternative.

Real Farm Gold trailer released
The new trailer dropped by SOEDESCO today focuses on the narrative of the game. Players start out with nothing in career mode and will have to work jobs for other farmers to work their way up to ultimately buy their own farm, equipment and vehicles for both work and leisure to ‘take home the gold’. For players who would rather jump right into farming and managing their farm there’s free mode, which starts players out with everything they need to get right into it.
