Lance Gibson Jr.
Lance Gibson Jr. debuts in Bellator
Interview by: Ray Vann Jr. – When he gets into the cage on October 26th, Lance “Fearless” Gibson Jr. is fighting for more than just his record. He’s fighting for his family name, and to prove that a lifetime of training is finally about to pay off.
Gisbon Jr., native of Port Moody, BC, Canada is scheduled to fight against Dominic Jones during the prelims of BELLATOR 232 MACDONALD VS. LIMA 2. Both men have two professional wins each, and weigh-in at 155 lbs. However, Gibson has a 5″ height advantage over the smaller Jones. This will be the first time Gibson has fought in the Bellator association.
Gibson tells Slickster that he’s been preparing for his MMA career since he was still in the womb, and he still remembers sitting in his car seat and going to his father’s gym to watch him train. Gibson Jr.’s first time on the practice mat was when he was just two years old, and all throughout his school years he says he couldn’t help but brag that his dad was a pioneer in the world of mixed martial arts.
A Natural Fighter
Throughout high school, Gibson Jr. dedicated much of his time and passion to the sport of wrestling, and even met the legendary Henry Cejudo at just 14 years old. By 16, he was one of the top wrestlers in Washington state, but it was that year that fate decided to intervene. Shortly after signing on for a major state tournament the young Gibson Jr. was diagnosed with shingles and found himself disqualified from the match. Despite this, however, he says that he was still on the scholarship radar but his enthusiasm for the sport was beginning to wane.
Instead, he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and during his senior year at just 17 years old, Lance Gibson Jr. entered the cage for his very first amateur fight. During that fight he was able to take down a much more experienced 33-year-old opponent, igniting a fire n him that hasn’t been quenched since.
“Once I got there I just knew I didn’t want to wrestle anymore.”
“It just felt so natural” Gibson Jr. said, explaining how that fight pushed him even further away from collegiate wrestling and towards the world of MMA. Still, friends lured him to give wrestling a chance and to visit Arizona State University. “Once I got there,” Gibson Jr. says, “I just knew I didn’t want to wrestle anymore.”
From there, Gibson Jr. began a career in the amateur fight scene, but his main focus has always been a breakout into the pros. With his father, as well as his stepmother – the legendary Bellator Women’s Featherweight Champ Julia Budd – at his back, Gibson Jr. says that he’s upped the intensity of his training more than ever to prepare him for his debut at Bellator.
And interestingly, despite the big name of his step-mother, Gibson Jr. says he hopes they never share a card together in the future. “What I do is I dive in head first to whatever I am doing in the moment,” Gibson Jr. told Slickster, saying that when he works as a training partner with Budd, he likes to put everything he has into that training. Being on the same card would mean he won’t be able to give as much as he’d like during those training sessions.
More Than The Cage
Fighting isn’t all that Gibson Jr. is about. He’s been supplementing his income with modeling and acting gigs, and most recently Gibson Jr. says that he did some acting and stunt work on the show Snowpiercer. He’s also an avid fisherman, and says that salmon fishing actually has a lot more in common with fighting than one might think.
“When you’re fishing, especially when you’re going after a fish like a chinook salmon, you don’t know if you’re always going to win. But you have to be 100% in the moment. If you stay too rigid, your line breaks, so you need to be flexible and you need to anticipate what the fish is going to do” the fighter says.
And, as for his debut at Bellator 232, Gibson Jr. wants to thank everyone for watching and has one prediction for his fans: “I’m going to be one of the best mixed martial artists Bellator’s ever seen, and I am going to be one of the best mixed martial artists the world’s ever seen!”

Smackdown comes to Fox: The blue brand celebrates 20 years!
Happy Anniversary Smackdown!
As many of you may know Smackdown will be switching networks on Friday, October 4th. In fact, I believe I touched on that very subject in one of my first articles. In addition to landing a new home SmackDown will celebrate twenty years on the air. Twenty years is quite an historic feat for any network show. Most television shows these days barely make it that long. Since its inception in 1999, Smackdown has remained a staple not just in wrestling, but also in popular culture thanks in large part to the Rock who was responsible for giving the program its name. Over the years Smackdown would feature its share of prominent matches and moments and progress story lines all while giving fans a second weekly dose of wrestling action.
In fact, the inaugural broadcast of Smackdown I mentioned? It featured quite a stellar main event. The Rock would battle Triple H for the WWE championship with Shawn Michaels as the guest referee. Remember, this was only the first episode and though he would lose the contest there was no doubt that Rock established Smackdown as his show. By the way, speaking of the Rock…
Finally the Rock has come home
Yes, you read that correctly! After a three-year absence the Rock, or Dwayne Johnson as he’s called these days, will make his long awaited return to the squared circle. Ever since WWE announced Smackdown was moving to the Fox Network speculation ran rampant about Johnson’s possible involvement. It’s no secret Johnson is a very busy man as one of the highest paid actor’s in Hollywood. He has a myriad of projects on his plate and his schedule doesn’t leave much wiggle room. However, as of a few days ago it was confirmed that the Great One would indeed be at the show.
So, what exactly will the Rock be doing? To be honest, I have absolutely no idea. He could be there to plug an upcoming movie, he could simply cut a promo about Smackdown celebrating twenty years on the air, or he might literally lay the Smackdown on someone. Will he wrestle? I highly doubt it but he could use his appearance to set up a future match down the line. It’s hard to say.
There are few better at entertaining than the Rock so you can expect whatever he’s involved in to be both entertaining and electrifying!
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Another name that will be appearing on the show is that of the Texas Rattlesnake, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin’s last appearance on WWE television was back in September on an episode of Raw. Austin has said he’d be open to making more appearances in the future. If that isn’t exciting enough the Bionic Redneck has made some rumblings as of late when he announced on an episode of his podcast that he could have one more match in the WWE. You heard that right. The man himself has said he could wrestle again some day.
Stone Cold hasn’t laced up his boots since his last match in 2003, at Wrestlemania 19 albeit against the very man I mentioned earlier the Rock. Now, what does that mean Austin will do at the show? My guess would be it will be more than just an in-ring promo. Obviously, the smart thing to do would be to capitalize on Austin and Rock being on the same program. How should WWE do that? By having two of their biggest stars appear in the ring together of course! Will it happen? Hard to say. If it does though, expect it to invoke nostalgic Attitude Era feelings.
The Deadman Cometh
You didn’t think I’d forget about the Undertaker, did you? Of course not. The Phenom will be in the house when Smackdown makes its debut on Fox. Last time anyone saw Taker he was delivering a thunderous chokeslam to Sami Zayn in the middle of the ring. So, what exactly will the Deadman be doing? Rumor has it Taker’s appearance could lead to a confrontation between himself and “The Fiend,” Bray Wyatt. If you remember Wyatt did attack Kane with the mandible claw on Raw a few weeks back so Taker wanting to exact revenge on his brother’s behalf makes sense.
While that seems likely the reality is that WWE will use this as an opportunity to plant seeds for a Wyatt/Taker bout to take place at Survivor Series. A match between these two monsters would be great to see. One thing is certain: If I were in Bray Wyatt’s shoes I wouldn’t dare attempt to play mind games with the Undertaker or he might just rest in peace.
Matches and other big names
The show won’t just be about big names there will be actual wrestling matches taking place. Kofi Kingston will look to tame the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar when the two square off for the WWE title. Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon put their careers on the line in a high stakes ladder match. Roman Reigns will battle Erick Rowan and the women will see action when Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair take on Sasha Banks and Bayley in tag-team action.
Also, there will be some other legendary names appearing on the program. Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Trish Stratus, Sting, Goldberg and Jerry “The King” Lawler among others, will be in attendance for what should be a more than memorable debut.

Dav Dralleon – HOLYWRATH
Dav Dralleon interview – 2019
French musical tour de force, Dav Dralleon, is back with a new EP. HOLYWRATH is seven tracks of original darksynth, and fully demonstrates Dralleon’s capabilities as an electronic composer.
HOLYWRATH truly keeps the listener engaged throughout. The EP combines heavy quadruple meter grooves with dissonant ambient sounds, creepy vocal samples, and catchy melodies. While it may be sensory overload for rookies to the discordant sounds of darksynth, HOLYWRATH delivers for fans of genre. At times the EP seemingly floats on a cushion of aural bliss, only to be interrupted by a decaying wave of demonic bit crushing.
You never really know what’s lurking around the next musical corner…. A breath of air in synthwave/electronic music that is refreshing. When music becomes predictable, it’s replay factor decreases exponentially. Perturbator’s New Model is a perfect example of this trend, and so is HOLYWRATH. When the album ends it’s run, I find myself cycling back to the opening track.
Playing on the expectations of the listener, and eventually delivering a deeply satisfying groove, beat or melody, takes a caliber of skill that many electronic musicians fail to develop. Dralleon has clearly been honing his composing chops since the release of his 2017 album, DEPTHS.
We caught up with Dralleon via email, and got some insightful answers to more solemn questions than our 2017 interview.
Slickster: Holy Wrath is your newest full length album. What would you like to highlight about the album?
Dralleon: HOLYWRATH is an Ep and I learned a lot about electro and composition in general by producing this EP.
Slickster: In the liner notes for HOLYWRATH you ask an accent question, “Is it our faith in our infinite beliefs, or is it our omniscient science that will save our souls?” This is extremely ethereal query, and one which mankind has perplexed over for millennia. Do you have an answer for this question, or do you pose it to make the listener ask the question of themselves?
Dralleon: I force the listener to think more, and I do not have the answer to the question. But what I do know is that we have to believe in ourselves as much as we can while remaining optimistic and giving the best of ourselves. Whether in science or in our beliefs, everyone has the right to believe what he needs to believe in order to feel better and achieve his goal.
Slickster: How have you developed musically since your previous album (DEPTHS) and the last time we spoke?
http://www.slickstermagazine.com/dav-dralleon/
Dralleon: A lot of work, always more research, and I learned a lot since I produced DEPTHS which has its authentic dark background. HOLYWRATH allowed me to explore more techniques, more finesse, while remaining raw and powerful, as the addition of metal guitar in WOLVESQUAD, which fits very well to the Darksynth universe.
Slickster: In our 2017 interview you said this about the development of large-scale metropolitan areas, “I imagine gigantic megacities as far as the eye can see with its inhabitants slaves of their least desire and technology.” Has the collection human species edged closer to your perception of reality in the previous two years? And if so, how?
Dralleon: I think we’re getting close to it, big megacities already exist and it will continue to deteriorate our whole ecosystem. We never stop! We have a vision often too limited to basic needs based on pleasure and appearances, it will not change, that’s how mankind works. But we have to remember we will not be able to live in total opulence and leaving other countries to die on a hot soil… there will be a very violent backfire! If mankind does not learn by gentleness, he will learn through pain.
Slickster: Your vision for the future of humanity shares commonality with many synthwave musicians, especially darksynth. The dystopian future, not dissimilar from a Judge Dredd comic book plot, or Terminator movie, perpetuates the story. Why do you feel this way?
Dralleon: I think we are all influenced by our favorite sci-fi movies during our childhood, like Terminator, Blade Runner, etc … So it’s natural to have all these cultures in our electro darksynth musical universe.
Slickster: Is it possible to have a darksynth album, but shed the dismal outlook of a future society dominated by malevolent cybernetic organisms? For example, could you create a “happy” or “upbeat” darksynth album, or is that purely impossible to do?
Dralleon: Funny question, because I’m actually working on a new EP with a more optimistic universe, creating hope for a better future, but remaining with some melancholy, epic, heroic aspects I would say, in line with the single ” Horizon Set Ablaze ” I released for “synthaid 2018”. It was a compilation of 60 artists whose goal is to donate the royalties to an foundation that fights for the defense of the environment. https://www.edf.org/
Slickster: Romain Asenion has returned once again to create stunning original artwork for Holy Wrath. It seems you guys have great working relationship. Can you talk about Asenion and your collaboration.
Dralleon: Asenion is a group of Death Metal Prog from Nevers, https://asenion.bandcamp.com/
the city from which I am native. Romain is the guitarist and graphic designer of this group, he is a very good friend of mine for a long time now. We already played together in several bands, including “Pangora”.
Slickster: What does the name of track #5 “M E K A Z A R Y O N”, mean?
Dralleon: Compared to the storyline of my EP, it is a music that evokes the passage of cybernetic souls from the underground mechanical world to an unknown outcome. This is how I call this « dark tunnel».
Slickster: Holy Wrath is available for purchase on an extremely limited edition red cassette. What prompted this, and are there any left for purchase?
Dralleon: Everything is going well with PLAYMAKER. The « DEPTHS » cassettes were quickly sold out. So, when I presented them HOLYWRATH, they were very enthusiastic to produce cassettes again with this new EP, and yes there are still some left 🙂
Slickster: Dav, thanks for sharing HOLYWRATH with us and giving a sneak-peek of the record. Your answers have been insightful as always! Is there anything else you’d like to mention or talk about that we didn’t get to in the interview?
Dralleon: Thank you, and thank you very much for this interview, I would like to thank Romain Asenion, Pierre Crosnier, Ar, Jurgen from PLAYMAKER, my family, and all my friends who support me.

Family Tree Review
On The Big Stage
Dave and Busters is a fun place to visit. eastasiasoft and Infinite State Games’ Family Tree is, sort of, from that family.
If eastasiasoft and Infinite State Games compress Family Tree’s levels and boost the game’s personality, put it in an arcade cabinet, with a card reader, it would fit right in.
In the same way, this is the feeling Family Tree delivers. It will be available on October 10, 2019. What does Family Tree’s experience mean to Nintendo Switch owners?
Family Story
Mister Fruits’ children stay up too late while on their screens. Mister Fruits ask the children not to. He goes to bed and an evil skull, Pedro, with a mischievous cackle sucks the Fruits’ children into a portal. Pedro turns them into actual fruit and scatters them throughout all the trees in the nearby forest.
You play Mister Fruits. Recover your children and save them from Pedro’s cruelty.
Fruit Slices
The Plus Button freezes the game. Moreover, The L and R shoulder buttons allow Mister Fruits to shift gradually left or right on the screen. In general, this applies to when he is on the ground and in the air. In addition, the left analog stick allows you to aim Mister Fruits anywhere on the screen. The right analog stick allows Mister Fruits to look anywhere on the screen.
The left analog stick in combination with the A Button shoots Mister Fruits over the whole screen. This game’s setup is simple. Family Tree’s vibrant levels and sounds, with influences from pinball games and Lima Sky’s Doodle Jump, make this an addictive experience.
Family Tree offers a basic story, tutorial, level select, and Endless Climb modes. The tutorial mode puts players through the basic controls of the game. The level select mode allows you to replay previous levels completed in this game. The Endless Climb mode offers a challenge mode for multiple players. Family Tree works in tabletop, television, and portable modes wells.
Natural versus Imitation Fruit
Family Tree is a dilemma, for me. Dave and Busters offer games that players can pick up now and forget. Family Tree’s package is well done but also has that Dave and Busters’ influence. I feel it is similar to two versions of Luigi’s Mansion, from Nintendo.
Luigi’s Mansion on the Nintendo Gamecube presents players with a small, third person, story. The game intentionally makes the scary world and mansion minute. The adventure is big, but the game is personal. Luigi’s Mansion arcade is a first-person, boisterous, romp. The game is loud. It is better with more than one player; it can be scary but is a showpiece.
Family Tree is in the middle. The game has the modes, story, and challenge to be a single personal adventure. However, the gameplay gets so close to being a romp that is multiplayer and forgettable, like in the arcades.
Conclusion
The Nintendo Switch offers a variety of experiences. Players can involve themselves in games with major depth. This includes titles like Super Mario Odyssey, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, or Chucklefish’s Stardew Valley. Nintendo also has Super Mario Party, Kart, and Arika’s Tetris 99.
The experience depends on what you might want that day. Family Tree can be both of these experiences. The single-player adventure has a story to give you an addictive one-player game.
The multiplayer and other game modes give players a simple single or multiplayer experience. Pre-order Family Tree, on Nintendo’s eShop before October 10, 2019, and get a major discount on the game. Family Tree is fun overall. That is what matters most and works well.

Warhammer 40,000: Miniature Wargaming, Big Storytelling
Written by Jonathan Lee, September 30, 2019, 7:30 PM. Tweet to: @Writerscube
It is the 41st Millennium and There is Only War
When Warhammer 40,000 is brought up, people might think of the many sometimes-great, sometimes-terrible video games. Others may think first of the popular tabletop miniature wargame and their characterful, highly-detailed miniatures. And the rest may think of the astoundingly enormous lore that can be explored—or incredibly overwhelming, depending on who you ask. That’s because there’s a metric-ton of lore for newcomers to ingest if one wanted to get the full-picture of what’s going on in the grimdark universe of the 41st Millennium. But luckily, you don’t actually need to know the whole story in order to appreciate it—it just gets better as you learn more.
I’ve covered quite a few games that involved either the science-fiction end of the Warhammer universe as well as some that take place in the fantasy side of Warhammer. But what I haven’t had the pleasure of speaking with you all about is the tabletop-side of things. Where the video games give you self-contained snippets of the affairs of the 41st millennium, it is the tabletop game and companion novels (of which there are many) that players, hobbyists, and lore-fanatics can really see Games Workshop’s fantastical scifi world in all its gritty and glorious beauty. (Warning: Depends on how beautiful you think the slow, inexorable downfall of Humanity.)
The Story Up to Now
Along with Games Workshop’s general rise, both in price tag and in business prosperity, there have been big changes with how their Warhammer 40,000 property has been evolving. Before, the story practically stagnated with the galaxy ever at war, always at the tip of the millennium. And Humanity’s always been on the edge of oblivion.
Now… Humanity is a teetering over the abyss a little. Things are still relatively around that area chronologically, but things have moved ahead by at least some. At first, there were superhuman Space Marines constantly battling the same battles across the galaxy. There are alien races and daemons. But it’s mainly centered on Humanity’s part in the grand scheme. Games Workshop has spent the past couple years pushing the narrative forward with even more Space Marine battles, new and old evils on the rise, an alien God of the Dead awakening, newer and shinier Space Marines, and even the resurrection of a demigod Space Marine Primarch.
Also, the galaxy has split in two, thanks to a hellish interdimensional rift. That rift crosses the entire galactic plane and is chockful of daemons and bad feels. And that means more problems for the Imperium of Man.
What’s Happening Now in Warhammer 40,000?
Currently, the story continues. It’s quite a pleasant surprise that Games Workshop chose not to just give fans a morsel of plot progression. Instead, they’ve opted for whole series of story arcs! For those who love their Space Marines, they have a whole slew of new models and characters. The Space Marines as a faction has evolved immensely. But the elf-like, alien Eldar, were treated to the first phase of plot movements with the “Gathering Storm” back in 7th Edition. Now, in 8th edition, the Eldar fans are getting even more goodness. New models and even more plot progression comes with the Psychic Awakening arc. This doesn’t even cover all the other factions and their personal narrative progressions. Their individual codex books are full of new developments in this edition.
What’s the Psychic Awakening?
The Eldar are up to their prophecies again. A “Phoenix rises”, a “Phoenix falls”. There are many characters that have nicknames related to the famous mythical bird. We know that much so far. That and the Eldar are busy dueling with their morally-questionable kin, the Dark Eldar. What are the stakes? Nothing we know so far. This is expected since the Eldar are a bit vague with their prophecies and intentions. But Games Workshop has already promised that every faction in the game/lore will be getting something out of the whole story arc, which is great for both lore-enthusiasts and players alike.
For those who are familiar with the games and hobby, new announced models include plastic redesigns of the Eldar Howling Banshees, Eldar warriors of martial perfection, and their Phoenix Lord, Jain Zar, the first of their warrior sect, otherwise known as Aspect Warriors. The Dark Eldar also got a new model announced: Drazhar, the Master of Blades. He’s basically the direct competition to Jain Zar, both being peerless masters in carving up their foes. Both in their lore and in the tabletop game, they are two interesting characters to follow and witness in-game.
Final Thoughts
For any readers who have been long-time fans of Warhammer 40,000, you’re probably just as happy as I am that the plot has been progressing consistently over the past few years. Before, it had taken a decade or more for a significant change. We can thank the current management for the nice change, though it seems as a trade-off, we’ve been seeing ever-rising price tags on models and games. While I’ve a bit to say on the money-issue, that’ll be for another day. For now, I’m excited about where the Warhammer 40,000 universe is going. I enjoy the Warhammer 40,000 video games here and there. But the tabletop miniature wargame has been a constant joy to me since I had first started playing.
Be sure to keep an eye out for more Warhammer 40,000 as the Psychic Awakening unfolds! At least for Games Workshop, tabletop miniature wargaming is about to get really interesting as gaming and narrative storytelling further intertwines. I’ll be covering more as events continue to develop.

How Warhammer: Chaosbane Can Improve Games Workshop’s Action RPGs
Astral Chain Review
Blast from the Past
Platinum Games, Inc. brought MadWorld to the Nintendo Wii. Without question, Nintendo Switch and Platinum Games, Inc. present Switch owners with the title Astral Chain. Based on MadWorld, the near- monochrome, violent, action title, Platinum Games, Inc.’s offerings always get me to the dinner table.
They served up games like the Wonderful 101, Vanquish, and Transformers: Devastation, over their game careers. I respect a game like Bayonetta, but it is not my favorite title. This is a strange thing. Astral Chain takes heavy inspiration from the Bayonetta series but manages to be more.
City in Crisis
In 2087, humanity is on the brink of extinction. Ark manages to be a prosperous, multi-cultural, city meant to avert the extinction of the human race. Regardless, disaster strikes as gates open all over Ark. Throughout the metropolis, both corruption and the alien threats spread over the land and its people. To counteract these threats, Ark’s police force creates a special task force, Neuron.
Neuron experimented and created Legion, for certain Ark police officers to wrangle in the field. Legion is a group of alien creatures, chained, and controlled by police officers to fight against the alien threat. You control a rookie officer who appears to be much more than Ark’s police force intended.
Ark Directions
Astral Chain allows you to control two characters at once. Control, either a male or female, rookie cop, crouch, and dash with the left analog stick. Attack your enemies with the ZR Button. Evade attacks with the B Button. Switch between various items in your inventory with the X Button. Interact with other characters and the environment with the A Button.
Tap the + Button to access the on-screen dynamic computer system IRIS. This allows players to follow crime patterns, alien activity, and highlight skill sets your legion may carry. The – Button accesses the game’s main menu.
Move the in-game camera, and lock on to enemies, with the right analog stick. Use the up and down directions on the cross pad to switch between your officer’s weapons. The left on the cross pad accesses your police notes to help you solve the current police cases.
The Legion’s Turn
Draw out your legion with the ZL button. The Legion character has an automatic attack pattern. Send the Legion away with the R Button. Recall, and deal out special attacks, with the Legion using the L Button. Quickly send out and draw back the Legion with the ZL button.
Hold the ZL Button and right analog stick to move the Legion. This combined with the chain that connects you to your Legion you can create other devastating combinations.
Players can move between Standard, Casual, Unchained and Ultimate modes to vary the challenge, and game control, in Astral Chain. For example, Casual Mode allows players to follow the story and the world of Astral Chain and the gameplay is less important. In the same way, Unchained Mode lets players move between Casual and Standard play modes. This mode also automates actions for the player.
Two players can use separate Joy-Cons, in the Co-op Mode, to control the Legion and your rookie cop to create dynamic action in the Nintendo Switch’s portable, tabletop, or television modes.
Slow Down
This is not something that happens often in the game but is apparent when it does. Whether there are multiple characters or large, dynamic, characters on screen, the game can slow down.
For example, there is a massive boss, in the game, that moves between three buildings. The game requires you to move between the same buildings to avoid those bosses’ attacks and damage the boss. This level works, but the game does slow down. As you attempt to access the menu to get upgrades to health, character abilities, or move away from the boss’ attacks, the game will not respond.
Conclusion
Astral Chain is a fun game. The controls are tight in most gameplay situations. It is massive, thorough, and addictive. The basic gameplay mixes with mini-games, and other gameplay styles to improve control over your Legion and vary your game experience.
Masakazu Katsura, the famous Manga artist responsible for series ZETMAN and Video Girl Ai, was Astral Chain’s game designer. Platinum Games’ Takahisa Taura, designer of the game NieR: Automata, makes his video game directorial debut with Astral Chain. Director of Bayonetta, and the writer and supervisor of Bayonetta 2, Hideki Kamiya, oversaw the creation of this title.
Astral Chain dips into the community responsibility of an Ark police officer to give players varied game dynamics. For example, alien attacks bring great damage to the Ark community. You fight the threat.
Players use their Legion to assist Ark citizens and officers in the daily challenges of the job and improve their community. These tasks all work together to improve your skills in the game. Astral Chain does not have the combination mechanics of Bayonetta.
The game is not a community- only dedicated action game like the Wonderful 101. Astral Chain combines the spirit of action in Bayonetta, the community service in the Wonderful 101, and the innovation Platinum Games, Inc. brings to all their titles.
In my opinion, Astral Chain is for any Nintendo Switch owner because Platinum Games, Inc. is behind it. Besides, just that should be enough to spark anyone’s curiosity.

Will Tiger Woods ever find his groove again?
Tiger Woods: What happened?
Professional golf. When some think of golf they may not consider it to be the most exciting sport in the world. Basically, you’re hitting a ball off a tee and if you don’t have a cart you have to do an awful lot of walking in order to progress around the course. Despite all of this however, the PGA does feature a number of phenomenal athletes. If you’re a fan of the game one name that comes to mind in today’s era is Tiger Woods.
Woods the most recognizable golfer on the planet has enjoyed a reign of dominance few have seldom enjoyed. However, the Tiger Woods of this era differs greatly from the player many of us saw reign supreme in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Knee injuries, back surgeries and even a sex scandal that rocked his squeaky clean image to its very foundation Woods has been dealt quite a hand. For Tiger however, the big question is: Can he find his groove again and truly return to his dominant form? Quite frankly I’m not sure anyone even the man himself can answer that particular question.
Roar of the Tiger: Woods wins the Masters
It was never supposed to happen. Woods wasn’t even in the conversation, or for that matter contention. Yet, at Augusta National Golf course on a lone Sunday in April, Tiger managed to flip the script. The 43-year-old conjured up some indelible magic that was once commonplace. After an opening round of 70, Woods was four back on the first day, was one back after a second-round posting of 68 and was back just two shots after his third round of 67. A final round of 70 sealed the deal and Tiger captured green jacket number five, winning by a mere stroke.
For the first time since 2005, Woods raised the claret jug in victory. Rallying from behind to win majors was not customary for a player of Tiger’s pedigree. In fact, in his previous 14 major wins, he was either tied for or led after 54 holes. Five green jackets. Five. Winning one is hard enough, but five? It’s almost unheard of. It also puts Woods in rare air. With a fifth Masters title, Woods not only moved past Arnold Palmer but also put himself one behind Jack Nicklaus for most green jackets in Masters history.
By the way, despite the surprise of Woods victory he had 22 birdies, the second most in the field behind Xander Schauffele’s 25. He also led the field in greens in regulation hitting 58 out of 72 greens.
Comeback king?
Comebacks in professional sports are far from easy. There’s nothing fans love more than a great comeback story. A lot have been successful, others not so much. How could Tiger’s comeback be rated? I suppose it depends on who you ask. For fans, I’m sure they view Tiger even being in contention and playing at high level a wondrous sight to behold. The same could be said for fellow golfers as well. When Tiger plays at a high level it’s always good for the game of golf.
What about the man himself? Certainly his play at the Masters was brilliant and it showed. I’d say in that regard Eldrick Woods himself would say his comeback would be a success. Looks however, are often deceptive. Since the Masters his play has been very up and down. What does that mean? To break it down, after winning the Masters Woods missed the cut at the PGA Championship, finished in a tie for ninth place at the Memorial Tournament, finished tied for 21st at the U.S. Open and finally missed the cut at the Open. Not exactly stellar play after winning a major championship.
Now, does all of this mean Woods is done winning, or that he won’t win anymore major championships? If I had to guess I’d say he still has majors to win it just may not happen right away. Over the years I’ve learned it’s not wise to bet against Tiger Woods and I believe that still holds true even now.
A litany of injuries
Let’s face it athletes are prone to injury. There’s a stigma athletes are immune to injuries of any sort due to the condition they keep their bodies in. It happens and it happens more often than you might think even to someone as great as Tiger Woods. Now, you might be wondering how in the world can you possibly injure yourself in golf? I mean, all you’re doing is swinging a club! Well, yes and no. Golf is and can be physical. After all, you are twisting your body when you swing and sometimes hitting out of difficult hazards at obscure angles.
Woods’ injuries have been well documented. This is a man who has sustained a neck injury, knee injuries and who has endured four major back surgeries. You read that right, four major surgeries! How many athletes do you know are still able to compete at a high level after four major surgeries? Not many.
What’s next?
Injuries, a somewhat stalled comeback, all of it begs the question: What’s next, for Mr. Woods? He has three tournaments in the fall; the Zozo Championship, the Hero World Challenge and President’s Cup where we could be playing as the possible captain. Will he participate in all of them? I’d say it’s possible. How well will he do? We’ll just have to see.

Biggest eSports Payouts
The BIGGEST eSports Payouts
eSports is a big deal. What started as Space Invaders contests has grown into a billion-dollar industry. The biggest eSports tournaments being held worldwide are proof of this. Screen Rant’s feature on massive eSports tournament payouts reports that the winners of the most recent major Dota 2 and Fortnite competitions got more prize money than Novak Djokovic, who won the Australian Open in January, and Tiger Woods, who won the Masters in April.
The fact that eSports players are now getting big payouts underscores just how massive the industry has become. A feature by Ladbrokes on everything you need to know about the world of eSports details how the industry has grown from 10 tournaments in 2000 to 3,765 in 2017. That trend is continuing, with different types of eSports competitions being held in countries across the world. This year, in fact, there are at least four major StarCraft II tournaments, including Global StarCraft II League Season 2 and the World Championship Series. Meanwhile, there are at least 10 major DotA2 competitions, notably SLi Invitational 6 and Dream League Season 11.
Major tournaments gather eSports’ best players, and naturally offer the most in terms of prize money. But the biggest, so far, are the following:
$15,609,462 (The International 9)
The International is the premier tournament for DotA2. It is, therefore, unsurprising that the prize pool for this year’s competition reached a record $34 million. OG won the tournament this year, and took home a staggering $15,609,462. The Europe-based team of ana, Topson, Ceb, JerAx, and N0tail overcame losses in the bracket stage to beat the highly regarded Evil Geniuses, PSG.LGD, and Team Liquid in the quarterfinal, semifinal, and final, respectively.
$11,234,158 (The International 8)
Last year’s The International 8 was lucrative as well. The prize pool ($25,532,177) and winner’s purse ($11,234,158), though, were slightly lower. The same OG team of ana, Topson, Ceb, JerAx, and N0tail won The International 8, too. That means they have earned over $25 million from just two competitions. Now for the purposes of this article, please note the following:
+ The International 7 paid out $10,862,683 to Team Liquid.
+ The International 6 paid out $9,139,002 to Wings Gaming.
+ The International 5 paid out $6,634,660 to Evil Geniuses.
+ The International 4 paid out $5,028,308 to Newbee.
$3 million (Fortnite World Cup)
Fortnite‘s World Cup was historic in every sense. It was Epic Games’ first Fortnite World Cup, and it was watched live by some 2 million viewers. It also gave out a cool $3 million (from a prize pool of just over $30 million) to the winner, Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf from Pennsylvania. The $3 million winnings is the largest cash payout for an individual eSports champion. The duos winners, Nyhrox and Aqua, also took home $3 million.
$2,418,750 (League of Legends World Championship)
Last year’s League of Legends World Championship was the biggest ever. It had a prize pool of $6.4 million, with $2.5 million coming from Riot. But fans added $4.2 million more by buying the special Championship Kha’Zix skin. Invictus Gaming, which included TheShy, Duke, Ning, Rookie, JackeyLove, and Baolan, topped the competition. They brought home the $2,418,750 winners’ prize money and the massive Summoner’s Cup.
