Off-road companies raise money for Thanksgiving charity

The three presidents of local off-road clubs, David Miller from Bone Collector 4×4 and The Enriquez Brothers from FLEX 4×4 sat down with Slickster Magazine. The interview was conducted by El Paso local and Slickster writer, Frank Acosta. They talked a lot about their trucks and the inspirations for getting involved with the 4×4 scene.
But, that is just the tip of the iceberg. To the outsider looking at the 4×4 or car club scene may seem intimidating, that is only a myth. Both Bone Collector 4×4 and FLEX 4×4 are huge supporters of families in need and welcome all people.
Bone Collector 4×4 and FLEX 4×4 are very active in their communities. Each year they help put on a massive food drive for Thanksgiving. [For our international readers, Thanksgiving is a US National Holiday where family and friends gather for a large traditional meal of roast turkey to celebrate and ‘give thanks’ for what we have.] The community involvement doesn’t stop there though. Both groups also help support families for Christmas as well.
While the car club scene in El Paso, Texas, is thriving it is not only limited to off-road vehicles. It is not only off-roading, rock crawling or even low riders. It is a real family event. Everyone helps out everyone else. “If you go on the trail together, you leave the trail together.”
