Mos Eisley now open

The Scum and Villainy Cantina Serves A Purpose

Star Wars quotes are ingrained in pop culture now.  ‘I am your father’ misquote controversy aside, there is a quote from Obi Wan Kenobi in Episode IV that has stuck.  “Mos Eisley spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.” To place this in context, the sage Jedi Master utters this to a naive Luke Skywalker as they prepare to find a space pilot. A dashing bandit who is willing to risk life and limb to smuggle their posse off the planet of Tatooine.  Cue Han Solo, Chewbacca, some green asshole named Greedo, one light saber dismembered arm, and you have a classic film scene.  Fanboys and Fangirls can now party hard on the Hollywood Blvd, just like the mercenaries and space jockeys were doing in the film.

This seems like fun. It is an experience that seems to warps into reality from out of nowhere and has held the attention of “intergalactic” fans for the past two months. I have only had one similar experience in my life. The Scum and Villainy Cantina gets to extend through June 2017. Scum and Villainy Cantina, at 6377 Hollywood Boulevard, speaks to me. The idea that a film and media master, JC Reifenberg, creates a party atmosphere. You visit Event Brite and get your tickets on May 4, 2017.  This gets you any number of prizes for an event meant to celebrate all things social, fan, and out of this world. Please visit the Scum and Villainy Cantina’s official website, or the Facebook page for more information and updates.

First, all fans who purchase tickets on May 4 get a $40-discounted rate on their tickets. You get there. Receive two drinks of your choice from the Cantina specialty menu, a souvenir pint glass, an exclusive Scum and Villainy

challenge coin, and surprises throughout the night. There are also discounted ticket and merchandise packages. You could get admission and a collectible shirt, at $55, or admission,  a collectible shirt, and hat, at $65.   The all-new “June Scum Pass”,  at $200, gets you automatic entry, with a guest, throughout the month of June during regular evening hours, Thursday through Sunday, even during sold out nights, and four souvenir glasses. Sales will be limited to a total of 40 for June.

New ticket reservations are limited, and admissions will be handed out on a first come, first served basis. In June, the Scum and Villainy Cantina will revise its days, and hours, of operation to Thursdays, this is one admission from 7:00-10:30pm, Fridays, this is two two-hour admissions, and Saturdays, and Sundays. These are three two-hour admissions on each day. Fans should reference the Scum and Villainy Cantina Facebook page for walk-in visit availability.

You get an event for food, fun and  interaction with “some questionable characters from throughout the galaxy.” These are the events where you get fun, but also find surprises you never could have imagined. I recall attending an event sponsored by Johnny Walker.

It was a free opportunity to learn more about the product, test the product in different ways, and interact with others who like Johnny Walker, and come from a variety of backgrounds. This kind of event represents a smooth exterior, an interesting minor history lesson, and an almost secretive club where you get to enjoy great drinks and meet new friends.

The Scum and Villainy Cantina sounds like a massive step up
