For The Love of Harley Quinn
Suicide Squad this year’s number one topic, but of all topics Harley Quinn is the center of the galaxy, grabbing guys’ hearts from all over the DC universe. Much like Gamora, another one of our talented celebrities are transforming themselves for the big screen in this year’s most talked about movie since The Avengers. Our new whacky, deadly, and the most important of, all drop dead gorgeous super bad girl is making her first big screen appearance this year. Like most of the fans know, the standards have been set high for our new dream girl.
The anticipation is boiling as we count down the months for the release of the movie, which is scheduled for August 5, 2016. Like many of our new superhero action thrillers, as the months continue on, the hype keeps building. So much chatter surrounds the movie in general, it’s sure to be an emotional roller coaster from start to finish. Only time will tell if actress Margot Robbie, born July 2, 1990, in Queensland Australia, will pull off the most complex character known to the dc universe, since the late Heath Ledger as The Joker.
Hopes are high but in many articles it has been said that she will give the fans the show that they’ve been waiting for. I’m also certain she’ll pull off the best super villain. She definitely has my heart, and that was from the trailer alone. Now I didn’t get the chance to follow along with all the comics but I’m hoping we get to see a glimpse of Batman, considering some of these villains are appearing from the Batman franchise itself.
The new Batman vs. Superman movie revealed the making of the Justice League. I wonder if Harley Quinn or any of the new characters will be added to the team, similar to what they did with The Avengers, adding multiple personalities to the Avengers team? I’m not too sure about the villain they should be facing, with the fate being left in the hands of Gotham’s, and the world’s finest villains.
Mostly what the fans should be wondering is if The Joker will make some kind of appearance due to Harley Quinn’s obsession. But before she fell madly in love, Dr. Harleen Quinzel was a psychiatrist who worked closely with The Joker as she stayed in the Arkham Asylum. She eventually freed Joker multiple times falling madly in love with the bat’s nemesis.
As time continues, the only question I still have is what process do these actors have to go through? I would only imagine you have to feel some type of crazy to fill the shoes of Harley Quinn definitely a mind game in itself. By the looks of the commercial we’ve yet to see her in her authentic suit but I’m sure the producers have more up the sleeve then meets the eye.
Feel free to share any comments or updates to the movies as provided, but don’t spoil it for us.
