El Paso, TX. Rising film director/producer, Frank Acosta, has confirmed that his new sci-fi script is “nearly complete,” and he will begin shooting in two weeks’ time. The working title for the upcoming movie is “The People Above,” but he cautioned that he is still kicking around alternate titles.
In a recent phone call, Acosta gave more details about what to expect in the upcoming movie:
“I had this idea and hammered out the script really quickly. The whole process has been light speed, from pre-production to casting and now to filming. We have a great cast of actors and actresses assembled and looking forward to start filming.“
Acosta was selectively vague about the actual plot of the movie. He did suggest that it was going to be set in the rural areas around his native Texas lands.
He also mentioned that it would have elements that would appeal to fans of both science fiction and horror. “Within the dawn of an extraterrestrial assault, five best friends must fight to survive and discover the truth of what a new world the morning will bring,” said Acosta.
When we asked him if he had any sexy leading roles casted he said laughed and simply stated,”Two!”
