Attending college is a personal choice for many young adults. Some opt to skip college all together and enter directly into the workforce. Others, like the readers of Slickster Magazine, just barely finish highschool and then live in their mom’s basement well into their 30’s. It can be a rewarding, albeit expensive, task for young person to endure to finish ‘higher’ education.
Casey Sosnowski chose FAU because it is close to her home. She is a Florida girl through and though and loves all it has to offer. It’s a lot more than alligators, amusement parks, and 80’s nostalgia. There are beautiful beaches, unique ecological systems, and hidden gems around every corner simply waiting to be discovered. With her forthcoming degree in biological sciences, this young lady is positioning herself to be right in the bullseye of a truly unique area of ecological diversity.
